In Uzma’s own Words:
My work has varied over the last decade that I’ve been at BetterPoints, which has certainly kept things interesting and engaged me immensely. Much of it is internal but I’d like to think it is vital in helping things tick over. I’m quite detail-oriented, so I am always looking for ways to improve things, like triaging our user queries with greater efficiency, and managing the rewards catalogue to streamline our incentives. We have a small team with different strengths, who work really well together to produce some brilliant results for our clients, and everyone is amazing to work with. I love reading our user stories of how the app has helped people improve their physical and mental wellbeing by getting outdoors more, connecting with their local communities and local green spaces. As my work has evolved, lately I’ve been more involved in setting up new engaging challenges for our user base. Looking forward to the next decade of helping people make more active and sustainable travel choices!
