BetterPoints CEO Dan Gipple to speak at SUM Bilbao 2019

We’re delighted to report that BetterPoints’ CEO, Dan Gipple, will be speaking at SUM Bilbao 2019 in February.

Dan will be taking part in the session on the ‘Sustainable mobility as an opportunity for the start-ups ecosystem’ session – which is part of the ‘opportunities for socioeconomic development’ topic theme. As an experienced entrepreneur with significant experience in transport behaviour change, Dan is well placed to share his experience and insights.

In a presentation entitled ‘BetterPoints:  Public/private co-creation for successful sustainable urban mobility’, as well as sharing the BetterPoints story so far, Dan will be examining how to build successful public-private partnerships and looking at future opportunities for further public-private collaboration, sharing insights from BetterPoints programmes around the world. The programme for the conference is full of what promise to be interesting and informative sessions around mobility. 

SUM Bilbao’s inaugural conference in 2019 is jointly organised by the City Council of Bilbao, an international benchmark in urban transformation processes, and Petronor, a local energy company committed to the economic and social development of Basque Country. Both stakeholders are aware of the need for addressing the most urgent and concerning global issues about mobility, as well as its opportunities. The event programme brings together leading international experts from different sectors related to cities and urban mobility: local governments, international organizations, private companies, start-ups, technological centres and universities. 

We’re pleased to have been asked to take part in this event and are looking forward to sharing in the discussion and meeting worldwide leaders in the field of sustainable mobility.
