BetterPoints CEO Dan Gipple taking part in Reading’s Festival of Digital Disruption
There’s an exciting series of events happening this week at the Town Hall in Reading as part of the 2018 Festival of Digital Disruption. Billed as a ‘celebration of digital creativity and innovation’ the conference is a high-energy, local event which aims to celebrate tech in Reading and the Thames Valley, to connect like-minded individuals and organisations and to inspire the next generation. As an organisation which thrives on digital creativity and innovation we didn’t want to miss out!
BetterPoints CEO Dan Gipple is taking part in the panel discussion at the TechForGood Conference on Wednesday as part of the festival. As a successful serial entrepreneur with a focus on social, digital health and sustainability tech ventures with over 20 years of start-up experience, Dan is passionate about tech and all its potential for good and is looking forward to sharing in the discussion with others. BetterPoints’ Head Office is based in the Reading area where Dan also lives with his family and is involved in his local community in numerous ways.
The festival organisers believe passionately in supporting and inspiring the tech stars of the future and we’re delighted to have had the opportunity to support the next generation of tech entrepreneurs by purchasing a NextGen ticket for a young person to attend.
Founded by a group of like-minded individuals in 2010, BetterPoints came out of a desire to find ways of motivating greater numbers of people to adopt sustainable and positive social behaviours. We work with public bodies and private companies to build programmes of engagement and incentives that result in a tangible change of behaviour, such as commuting by bicycle instead of by car, or walking for at least 150 minutes a week.
