We’ll be at Walk21 in Rotterdam in October
We’re very pleased to announce that we’ll be taking part in this important and prestigious conference. The City of Rotterdam will be hosting 20th International Conference on Walking and Liveable Communities in partnership with Walk21 in October 2019.
The theme of this year’s event is ‘Putting Pedestrians First: Smart, Healthy and for Everyone!‘ This falls into three sub themes: Putting Pedestrians First delivers a city for everyone; Putting Pedestrians First delivers a healthy city; Putting Pedestrians First delivers a smart city on a human scale.
BetterPoints COO, Chris Bristow will attend and, in keeping with the international focus of the event, will share some of the success we had getting more people walking more often in Bologna as part of the Bella Mossa programme which was powered by BetterPoints.
Walk21 is the international charity dedicated to ensuring the right to walk and opportunity to enjoy it is supported and encouraged for everyone across the world. Founded in 2000 it has grown steadily into an international movement.
More information about our involvement will be shared in due course when we know more.
