Ditching the car was ‘a huge change’ for Jacqueline: ‘I walk more and feel a lot better’

BetterPoints user Jacqueline, from Brighton & Hove, made a big change when she got rid of her car. She now walks and takes public transport instead of driving every day. In so doing she has discovered new places and found relief for back pain and stress.

‘I first heard about [BetterPoints] in an email from Brighton & Hove Council. Since getting the app I have changed the way I travel by walking everywhere and using public transportation exclusively now.

‘It’s been a huge change, as I was a clinical nurse advisor and travelled by car all over the south of England every day. Being in the car and on the highways every day was stressful and time consuming.

‘Since getting BetterPoints and getting rid of my car, I walk more and feel a lot better. Nowadays, I get less backache, feel less stress and see more of the world, and I couldn’t be happier with no car.
