We’ll be at the Public Health & Sustainable Transport Summit in Bristol on 27 March
The crossover between active and sustainable travel and public health is one of our specialisms. The BetterPoints app and our behaviour change expertise has encouraged and incentivised people all over the world to make smart and healthy travel choices such as walking, cycling, car share and public transport.
We’ll be at the Public Health & Sustainable Transport Summit in Bristol on 27 March. Find us in the exhibition where our team will be available to answer questions on what we do and how we can help organisations change behaviour to meet a variety of transport and health outcomes. We’ll also be offering demonstrations of the BetterPoints app and system.
Hannah Bowden, our Programme Director and behaviour change expert will be taking part in the ‘Sharpening Behaviour Change Initiatives’ session. She will focus on the work we’re doing with the Ebbsfleet Development Corporation as part of the Ebbsfleet Garden City NHS Healthy New Town. Hannah has a wealth of expertise in using tech for behaviour change and is studying for her PhD in Machine Learning and Behaviour Change at UCL.
Hannah will discuss the benefits of using rewards and incentives to encourage people to hit the Government-recommended 150 minutes per week of physical activity. She will also explore the benefits of using gamification features and techniques – including the virtual treasure hunts that were so popular in Ebbsfleet last summer.
We’d be delighted to answer questions and talk with delegates. If you’d like to book an appointment in advance to discuss the potential for BetterPoints to help you please contact us.
